Nathaniel Wynne

Program Coordinator

Nathaniel Wynne joined the staff at the Center for the Study of Religion and American Culture in May of 2015. He received an M.S.Ed. from Indiana University Bloomington (2017) and has both a BA in Religious Studies and a BA in English with a concentration in Linguistics from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (2015). In addition to his work as Program Coordinator at the Center, he also serves as Program Coordinator for the Association of Religion Data Archives. Nate manages the Center’s social media presence (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) and official website, assists with event planning and management, conducts financial processing, coordinates tech support, provides video editing services, crafts advertising materials, coordinates the Center’s Religion & series, and serves as Assistant Editor for Religion & American Culture: A Journal of Interpretation. Nate also served as Assistant Editor for The Bible in American Life (Oxford, 2017), Civil Religion Today: Religion and the American Nation in the Twenty-First Century (NYU Press, 2021), and the forthcoming book, Religion and Philanthropy in the U.S. (Indiana University Press, 2023).
