Denominations in the United States

The goal of this learning module is to use The Association of Religion Data Archives to review the schisms and changes within major denominational families in the United States as well as explore denominations within those families. The first step will be to examine two of the largest religious families: Baptists and Lutherans.

The ARDA Lesson Plans integrate content from the ARDA and other sources into teachable units. The lessons are designed for courses in a wide range of disciplines, including history, political science, psychology, religious studies, and sociology. This assignment was created for the Association of Religion Data Archives.
