Discrimination against Minority Religions
There are different types of regulation of religion. Government regulation of religion is the restrictions placed on the practice, profession, or selection of religion by the official laws, policies, or administrative actions of the state. Social regulation of religion is restrictions placed on religion by other religious groups, associations, or the culture at large. This module will provide a general overview of religious restrictions and societal discrimination around the world, comparing nations and comparing religions.
The ARDA Lesson Plans integrate content from the ARDA and other sources into teachable units. The lessons are designed for courses in a wide range of disciplines, including history, political science, psychology, religious studies, and sociology.
