Evangelicals in the United States

It is often stated that there are a growing number of evangelical Christians in the United States. With more members comes more influence on society at large. Even though this religious group has been on the rise for many years now, how much does the average person really know about evangelical Christianity? The following exercise illustrates how you can use the Association of Religion Data Archives to explore this relevant issue in American religion.

The ARDA Lesson Plans integrate content from the ARDA and other sources into teachable units. The lessons are designed for courses in a wide range of disciplines, including history, political science, psychology, religious studies, and sociology. This assignment was created for the Association of Religion Data Archives.
