Exploring International Religion (Jr/Sr High School Module)

Religiosity varies between cultures and countries. Some nations have mostly Christian populations, while other countries have larger proportions of Muslims, Buddhists, or Hindus. While some governments allow their citizens to join any religion, other governments only allow participation in one or two government sanctioned religious traditions. This module explores the beliefs, practices, and religious regulations of several different countries.

The ARDA Lesson Plans integrate content from the ARDA and other sources into teachable units. The lessons are designed for courses in a wide range of disciplines, including history, political science, psychology, religious studies, and sociology. This assignment was created for the Association of Religion Data Archives.

Created for Junior and Senior High School Students.
