Methods for Exploring Religion

When social scientists study religion they use many different research methods, from ethnographic data on a single congregation to comparative data on virtually all nations. They also study religion at many different levels, from the beliefs and behaviors of individuals to the activities and influence of religious cultures, organizations, and movements. This activity will introduce a few of the research methods used for collecting data and a few of the ARDA’s tools that can be used for exploring the data.
